Requirements:

10+ years experience as a Software Engineer
Experience with low-level systems programming on at least one major platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, any mobile platform)
Solid understanding of C/C++
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to influence roadmaps and execution in teams
Experience with development on Windows and/or macOS

Nice to Haves:

Programming experience in Rust
Additional Linux and/or macOS experience, particularly with low-level systems programming
Successful contribution to an open source project
Expertise in compilers pipeline design and optimization
Knowledgeable about improving overall compiler performance
Experience in developing installers for operating systems

Design, develop, and ship Firefox features through installs, updates, and OS integrations
Lead design reviews and influence strategic technical decisions
Analyze data to enhance user engagement during Firefox installation and updates
Investigate operating systems programming issues and collaborate on solutions
Assess work supporting team and product roadmap, making insightful recommendations
Mentor junior engineers and improve Firefox quality on Windows and/or macOS
