4+ years experience working with large scale ETL systems (implementation, strategy, and maintenance)
4+ years of post-grad, non-internship, professional experience building clean, maintainable, object-oriented code in a production environment
Strong SQL language proficiency
Proficiency working with an object-oriented programming language (Python preferred) in a production environment
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the company
What You'll Be Doing:
Design, develop, scale, and support Reddit’s experimentation platform data pipelines
Develop and operate high scale data products with a focus on live site reliability, trustworthiness of analyzed data, and debuggability/actionability for feature teams
Monitor, improve, and guarantee the quality and trustworthiness of data being used to make decisions across Reddit
Define and manage SLAs for datasets that support production experimentation
Increase developer efficiency through automation, improved signals, workflow streamlining and system optimization
Collaborate cross functionally within the Experimentation Platform Team and across the whole company to find technical solutions to complex design challenges
Nice to Haves:
Preferred: Proficiency with Airflow (or similar data/ETL tools) in a production environment
Preferred: Experience with large-scale database/data warehouse systems like Google BigQuery
Preferred: Experience working with A/B testing at scale
